Classic Game Room – FAST STRIKER for Sega Dreamcast review part 1

Part 1 of 2. Classic Game Room reviews FAST STRIKER for Sega Dreamcast, a 2011 release for the supposedly deceased console that just won’t die! Copyright 2010 from NG:DEV.TEAM and made in Germany, Fast Striker is a maniac shooting game with up to 180 bullets on screen. This vertical scrolling SHMUP style spaceship shooter is a slick, refined videogame for the Sega Dreamcast which competes against classics such as Gigawing and Mars Matrix. Of note is the incredible techno style music that has few peers and will keep you playing just to dance. This CGR video review of Fast Striker for Sega Dreamcast has Fast Striker gameplay showing Fast Striker SHMUPS style Shmup space ship shooter game play on the Dreamcast.

  1. Great review, good to see this much love for DC! Also I agree the music is really sweet. If you like that style of trance, check out 3rd Moon and Signum.

  2. Classic Game Room is the best … it is the Business Model that all Franchised ass-kicking factories are based upon. It is the Carls Jr. of ass-kickery, the Ray Croc of handing-asstoitiveness. Yes that word is real..i just used it in scrabble last week. Kick Ass Classic Game Room!!!!

  3. where do u get this game? is it sold in stores? will it play on north american consoles?

Zero chance is gonna happen. Sega has sold all the Dreamcasts ever been maunfactured, also the refurbished ones (repaired units)…
And this game isn’t an official Sega release (the last one was Karous). If you want to support the Dreamcast and make Sega aware of it you have to buy the Dreamcast Collection on PS360. Maybe one day will see a Dreamcase re-release by some extern manufacturer like the Genesis today.

  7. Sooo, chances are, if this makes enough money, Sega will most likely re-sell the Dreamcast?

  8. @Trusteft They’d have to chance it all…would you be willing to chance losing their games?
